Welcome to the class blog for The Literary Archive, a spring 2012 course cross-listed in English and the Program in Museums & Society at Johns Hopkins University.  Our class is examining 19th- and 20th-century American literature through rare books, manuscripts, letters and ephemera in the effort to better understand how works of literature are made, circulated and received–and how the creators and stewards of archival collections help shape literary culture.  Students are the main contributors to this blog.
